Mark your calendars for the March of Dimes Signature Chefs and Master Mixologists, A Night at the Speakeasy on Thursday, November 8, 2012, chaired by Michele Arthur and Yolanda Selene Walther-Meade.

Helmed by Co-Lead Chefs Bernard Guillas of the Marine Room and Andrew Spurgin, the March of Dimes 2nd Annual Signature Chefs Auction convenes stellar Chefs and marvelous Mixologists for an evening of culinary extravagance Prohibition-style at San Diego’s landmark, El Cortez. Sip and sample creative concoctions and delightful delicacies while bidding on the most exclusive and experiential culinary auction items.

This second annual fundraising gala has tastings, cocktails, live music and a live auction, all attuned to a Prohibition-style theme, and in support of healthy babies and mothers. The chef lineup includes the Marine Room’s Bernard Guillas, Superdiner Andrew Spurgin, Mision 19’s Javier Plascencia, Carnitas’ Snack Shack’s Hanis Cavin, Stone World Bistro’s Alex Carballo, Urban Solace’s Matt Gordon, Bo-beau’s Katherine Humphus, Catalina Offshore’s Tommy Gomes, and more.

Among the cocktail makers there’s Grant Grill’s Jeff Josenhans and Snake Oil Cocktail’s Michael Esposito.
