Carnitas' Snack Shack wins 2012 Silver Fork Award

San Diego Home/Garden Magazine has named Carnitas’ Snack Shack as a favorite new restaurant in their 31st Annual Silver Fork Awards. The yearly review by restaurant critic Stephen Silverman recognizes new and noteworthy eateries throughout San Diego county, and did so with fourteen “newly minted Silver Fork Awards…”

The awards were amusingly Super-hero themed, just in time for this Summer’s Comic-Con!

Hanis Cavin and Sara Stroud’s North Park restaurant Carnitas’ Snack Shack was named, along with Blueprint Café, Davanti Enoteca, Eddie V’s Prome Seafood, Flavor Del Mar, Flying Pig Pub & Kitchen, Hodad’s, Mision 19, Saltbox Dining and Drinking, Solace and the Moonlight Lounge, Sublime Ale House, Table 926, The Shores, and Underbelly. Congratulations go out from us to all of our fellow superheroes!
