30th on 30th – LAST DAY FOR FOIE! Seared Foie Gras, Peach Coulis, Charred Brioche – $5 June 26, 2012 This month, 30th on 30th happens on Saturday June 30th. It’s the last day of the month, and the last day we can legally sell any foie gras product in California. Join us for our Foie-mageddon Lamentation! Chef Hanis is serving up seared foie gras with a sweet peach coulis and charred brioche for only $5 — starting at 5pm, until we run out … 🙁 Plus we’ll have all our usuals, snacks, and a great selection of hand-made desserts. Come on by and get your fill o’ foie before the end time! What’s 30th on 30th? Here’s the program in general: on the 30th of each month, a bunch of restaurants and bars on and near 30th Street in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego offer specials, such as a featured appetizer or drink for around $3. This makes it easy for you to go on a restaurant/pub crawl and check out all the amazing places on the 30th Street Corridor. Most places start their specials between 5 and 6pm.
