Carnitas’ Snack Shack restaurant in North Park and Burlap were awarded 2012′s “Best New Restaurant” Gold Medallion from the California Restaurant Association on Tuesday night May 29, 2012.
Owners chef Hanis Cavin and Sara Stroud are deeply honored to have been recognized by San Diego’s local chapter of the CRA. The 28th Annual Gold Medallion Awards, San Diego’s most prestigious restaurant honors, were held Tuesday night May 29, 2012, at the San Diego Convention Center.
The industry awards gala is a highly celebrated, peer-to-peer awards dinner in San Diego, recognizing worthy and exceptional restaurants in the region. It is an opportunity for members to acknowledge their fellow restaurateurs for their business practices, concepts, and achievements in more than 40 award categories.
