Green Flash Road Warrior Beer Release Party at Carnitas' Snack Shack

SUNDAY, MAY 4, 2014 – Green Flash Craft Beer Release Party!
Carnitas’ Snack Shack North Park is proud to introduce Green Flash Brewery’s new ROAD WARRIOR™ Imperial Rye India Pale Ale. San Diego, be the first to try this local craft beer!
“It’s a really cool thing that we’ll be the first to have Road Warrior. I’m honored – and excited,” said SnackShack owner and Executive Chef Hanis Cavin. “It’s brewed with rye, so we’re using it in a new sausage, mustards and glazes just for the event!”
The SnackShack’s Chef Max Bonacci will be collaborating with Chef Carlos Anthony of Salt & Cleaver on two Green Flash inspired dishes:
Road Warrior “Rye PA” smoked bratwurst – made with Road Warrior IPA-infused pork jus, roasted garlic Oaxacan dark chocolate and arbol chilis. We’ll serve up these sausage sandwiches with a Road Warrior mustard while they last from The Pig Pen, the SnackShack’s outdoor patio bar. Chefs Carlos and Max will be live tweeting the sausage making at Salt & Cleaver on Tuesday April 29, starting at 6pm.
Smokehouse Kings “Rye PA” glazed brisket – tender smoked brisket glazed in Road Warrior IPA, served open face on white bread.

ROAD WARRIOR is a new Imperial Rye India Pale Ale from Green Flash, brewed with Columbus hops, rich crystal and rye malts, then dry-hopped with Mosaic. Strength (ABV): 9.0% ABV. Bitterness (IBU): 80 IB.
