Book Signing with Maria Desiderata Montana, Hanis Cavin and Max Bonacci

Noon-3pm Sat Dec 21 – Looking for the perfect last-minute gift for the foodies on your list? Come by Carnitas’ Snack Shack North Park this Saturday for a book signing with author Maria Desiderata Montana, chefs Hanis Cavin and Max Bonacci!

Meet local San Diego author Maria Desiderata Montana and pick up a signed copy of her new cookbook, San Diego Chef’s Table: Extraordinary Recipes From America’s Finest City. Carnitas’ Snack Shack Executive Chef Hanis Cavin and Culinary Consiglieri Max Bonacci will be on-hand as well. The book includes Cavin’s recipe for Pork Burger with Candied Bacon and Gorgonzola, and Bonacci’s recipe for Mackerel Wings.

We’ll have some SnackShack swag for sale, including a new batch of “Vegan Gone Bad” and “The Line Is The Sign” t-shirts.

Chef Max will be cooking up a storm out in The Pig Pen, our outdoor patio bar.

Maria Desiderata Montana is the publisher of the award-winning food blog San Diego Food Finds. She is also a published author, editor, and award-winning freelance food and wine journalist who learned how to cook and appreciate European cuisine from her parents, who were born and raised in Calabria, Italy. Maria is the author of Food Lovers’ Guide to San Diego (Globe Pequot Press), San Diego Chef’s Table: Extraordinary Recipes From America’s Finest City (Lyons Press) and The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe Cookbook. She was also a contributing editor of the award-winning cookbook Flying Pans. Maria is the Food and Wine Editor of FINE Magazine, a luxury/lifestyle publication in Rancho Santa Fe.
