Standout Fries
We ask the Superdiners: Who’s got standout french fries, aka frites?
Fries alone? It’s a tie. The truffle fries at Bankers Hill Bar & Restaurant (2202 Fourth Ave., Bankers Hill. 619-231-0222 or bankershillsd.com) vs. The Carnitas’ Snack Shack (2632 University Ave., North Park. 619-294-7675 or carnitassnackshack.com) fries. However, if CSS is running a poutine special, they’re unbeatable.
