The Shack’s pulled pork poutine — our version of a Canadian classic — features seasoned French fries with juicy pulled pork, smothered in white cheddar gravy, and topped with diced bacon.
We season our fries with Baker Shake, a wonderfully complex seasoning salt produced locally by Chef Eron Baker. You can find Baker Shake at local San Diego farmers’ markets, or online at BakerShake.com.
Our hormone-free pork comes from Salmon Creek Farms in Idaho. Family owned and operated, Salmon Creek Farms provides the best nutrition, cleanest environment, and most humane treatment of their hogs that we could find — resulting in natural, pastured pork with unsurpassed quality. It’s marinated in our special blend of spices and aromatics, slowly braised for up to five hours, then hand-pulled.
Topped with a generous portion of home-made white cheddar and bacon gravy and diced Berkshire bacon.
